Fran Watson, Board President of the Indiana Innocence Project and Professor of Law Emerita at IU McKinney School of Law, was a featured speaker at the Forensic and Investigative Sciences Program 20th Anniversary Symposium on Thursday, September 18, 2025.

The Symposium celebrated two decades of the FIS Program’s contributions to forensic science and  included a keynote from AAFS President Joanna Collins, a panel of local forensic leaders, and a student poster session.

We’re honored that Fran brought her expertise and perspective to this event, highlighting the intersection of forensic science, law, and justice.
