Marla Sandys has served on the faculty in the Department of Criminal Justice at Indiana University Bloomington for more than 30 years, including roles as Department Chair and Director of Undergraduate Studies. She holds a PhD in Social Psychology from the University of Kentucky and has spent much of her academic career researching death penalty juries. As a teacher, she works to help students critically examine the realities of the criminal justice system with a focus on fairness and reform.
